    • Yes, it is. See, if you look closely you can see the word “lab” between “all” and “bug.” And lab is a word.

      • A scrabble hand is 7 tiles. Walt put down 9. The only way the third panel’s setup could be formed from that of the first panel is in two separate turns — first turn “lab” into “syllabic” then on a second turn add “mono” to the beginning. Doing it in a single move as the strip shows Walt to do is impossible.
