  1. Read your comic everyday, the comic is clean and funny. Todays comic, from 7.27.14 was not only inappropriate, but suggestive and provocative. Looked the unmarried teens were just about to be intimate, right on the front page. Not a very good example for our youth.

  3. First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick
question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.

I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations
    or tips? Cheers!

  4. oh, come on, they’re just hugging, and frankly, if this is as suggestive as zits gets, it is well ahead of most of the entertainment and advertising in the rest of the world. Of all the things to get prude about, I feel like being offended over this is a waste of time. There are far worse examples for our youth, and honestly, I doubt that teenagers will be gleaning advice from/influenced by a comic strip.

  5. A prude (Old French prude meaning honourable woman)[1] is a person who is described as (or would describe themselves as) being concerned with decorum or propriety, significantly in excess of normal prevailing standards. They may be perceived as being more uncomfortable than most with sexuality or nudity. The degree of prudery understood as fearful contempt of human sexuality can vary among different cultures and traditions.

Reading this definition, I understand that Patricia and Amy see things that a teenager won’t see. This strip speak about the latest intrusion in private life (i.e. the use of a drone). There is nothing about sexuality. It is showing what any concerned parents may be thinking when their kids are hiding themselves in a secret place for private moments! We used to scream “leave the door open”….now we try to use the latest refinement in technology….By the way, we are supposed to be laughing….it is just a comic strip.
    Keep on going! Merci!
