What’s New, You Ask?

Dude, your cursor is sitting on it! This is the new Zits website, fresh off the — I dunno, iPad? — of the crack IT team at King Features. Browse around and check out our new features.

Now you can comment on the strips, find our latest books, check out the gallery that carries our originals, and (drumroll, please) peruse our entire archive for free! Is this your lucky day, or what?

Plus, check out our new Zits logo. After fifteen years we decided to unveil a fresh look. I can’t even estimate how many minutes it took to design this.

And once again, scouts honor, we’re promising to post on our blog more often. Starting today we’re one for one! Stay tuned.

    • Hey Britta. We get a lot of queries about how to find specific strips, and you’d think we’d have some great database here at Zits world headquarters. But no, we’d have as much trouble finding old strips as you do. Look for a blog post in the next day or two on this topic.

  1. Gee, great new website. Now I can’t see the comics at all. So much for starting my workday with a chuckle. Thanks guys!

    • Sarah, we’re sorry you are having problems with the website. We would appreciate your patience as it is a new site! Could you please let us know what browser you are browsing from? We’ve tested the site in IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari and the comics appear visible in all four. Also, please check your firewall and security settings, as it is most likely a setting on your computer or local network that is causing this problem, and that is not something we can troubleshoot for you.

  2. I remember over a year ago a small sketch of Jeremy and Walt sitting outside and Jeremy asking if he could have a sip of Walt’s beer but never saw it in print. Was it cancelled or will we see it this year?
PS: Love the new design for the site but some character bios would be cool

    • Yeah, we thought better of that series, Schweitzer-Man. There’s a gulf between what we all know happens in real life and what can be acknowledged on the comics page. That’s why you’ve never seen the boner-in-math-class series, either.

  3. Greetings: Ive started my day over the past two years with Zits. Now I am not able to view the comic, nor the previous or next buttons. I am currently using Win 7 with IE 9 v 9.0.8112.16421 with an Internet security seting of Medium-High. Nothing has changed on my PC settings for years. Can provide any assistance to enable content from the new site format? Thanks.

    • Thanks for reporting the glitch in such a helpful way, Robert. This gives our IT team a way to investigate. Stay tuned…

    • Hi, Robert! Thanks for the bug report; we’ll try to work out the issue.

We tested the site in-house using the same setup and it worked as expected. We expect it is a firewall, ISP, or antivirus software problem, where something that is trying to secure your computer thinks that the feed sending the comics to the site is a problem. My tech team asked if you could possibly send us a screenshot of what you are seeing and the source code being displayed to you.

      To get source code:
      1) Right click on the site (not an image or link).
      2) Select View Source.
      3) Select All
      4) Copy
      5) Paste content into notepad.
      6) Save as text file.
      7) Send saved file.

Those will help us figure out exactly what is causing the problem. You can send those to kfs-cartoonists@kingfeatures.com and we can see if we can give you any more advice or if there’s anything we can do on our end to improve your experience.

When people have had this problem on our other sites, many of them have gotten the problem fixed by emailing or calling their ISP.

Sit tight and we’ll do our best to help you! We don’t want anyone to be going without ZITS!

  4. We LOVE LOVE LOVE ZITS!!!!! You HAVE TO BE somehow recording my life… Are you sure you don’t have hidden cameras in my house? The Mom-Jeremy dish battles are so.my.life!!! they even make my 17-year old teenager laugh when I show him. Sunday’s strip made us both snark: “How do they know about our lives so well!?”

Thank you thank you for the wonderful art and writing. You guys truly do rock. Aloha from Hawaii.

  5. The new website is not showing current cartoons each morning. I check it first thing every day on Safari/Mac & it is always a day behind. I can see the new one on arcamax.com/zits but not at zits comics.com. The calendar did not even show Sunday the 12th for several days. There is a delay….
